Havieron

CDI Electrics was engaged by Rapid Camps Australia to complete the electrical work on the new Havieron exploration camp. The project was a 120-man camp with 25 accommodation units, multiple ablution blocks, mess area, site offices, fuel pumping station and core cutting yard. CDI acquired adequately sized generators to provide a reliable power source to the entire camp.

The project consisted of the installation of 3 DBs to provide power to separate areas of the site. The electrical was made up of power supplies for the RO unit, communications hub and fuel pumping facilities along with individual circuits to the 25 accommodation blocks. The project was completed incident free on budget and on time. Since successfully completing this project Newcrest have engaged CDI directly to provide feasibility around a renewable solution to help achieve their 35% renewable energy target.

Newcrest have engaged CDI directly to supply on going labor for the remainder of the project. Havieron Exploration camp is located approximately 65km east of the Telfer mine site in the Pilbara region of Western Australia. Project Value to date $650,000.00
